New Zealand contacted PCB to reschedule the tour after the cancellation

The chairman of the Pakistan cricket board Mr. Ramiz Raja said New Zealand has contacted PCB to reschedule their tour to Pakistan. On Thursday Raja said that they are ready for the home series in Pakistan and the good news will be announced soon within a week.

While talking about the future goals of the Pakistan cricket board PCB chairman said that

The PCB may put forward its terms before the NZC by choosing the month of November in 2022 for the rescheduling of the recently postponed series.

PCB must strengthen itself for International value

He also said that the PCB must strengthen its financial status to get the value before the International cricket council and other cricket boards of the world. He continued and said that

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) generates 90% of the revenue for ICC whereas the PCB gives nothing. The ICC provides 50% funds to PCB. I’m afraid Pakistan Cricket may collapse if BCCI stopped funding the ICC. The truth is that money is now everything in world cricket. PCB has to strengthen its financial status in order to increase its value before the ICC.

Raja is hoping that the PCB will not only generate funds for itself but will also generate a lot of funds for the international cricket council (ICC). Raja further added that

There are two companies that have offered to sponsor drop-in pitches for different stadiums of Pakistan and it will cost around $1 million per drop-in pitch.

He said that we got a sponsorship and one of the sponsors will give us a blank Cheque in the condition of defeating India in the mega event of t20 World Cup 2021.

He spoke about the upcoming series in Pakistan and hoping to host a home-based try series with South Africa, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka to build a bloc against influential cricket boards. He further added and said

West Indies Cricket Board are optimistic to tour Pakistan in December 2021 whereas Australia will also be forced to think twice regarding decision making on touring Pakistan in February 2021

Match Fixers will not be entertained

The PCB chairman also said that there is no room for match-fixers in Pakistan cricket he is against bringing back match-fixers they have already ruined the cricket and glory of Pakistan. He said

I was and I am against fixers. You can’t allow a cricketer to play for Pakistan again who was once involved in fixing and had damaged the global image of Pakistan Cricket.

If we allow fixers to play again for Pakistan then it will be a bad impression for the new talent. We will not bring any match-fixer back into the team and this will be a lesson for newbies and they will stay away from the fixing of the match.
