Blasts at Kabul Airport killed 13 including children

The bomb was blasted at Kabul airport and 13 people were killed including children. Many people are wounded including Afghan Taliban guards an official told Reuters. The US and allied officials said that they had intelligence that the bombers were threatening to attack the Kabul airport.

The explosions came out when thousands of people were present at the airport and seeking to flee from Afghanistan to any western country before the final deadline of 31-August. The United States and other coalition partners have been evacuated almost 95,700 people from Afghanistan till from 14 August before the Taliban entered the Kabul city took control of the capital of Afghanistan the White House said on Thursday.

According to a white house official, they have been briefed by the US president about the explosion at Kabul airport. Mr. Biden was in a meeting with his security officials and discussing the situation in Afghanistan, where the USA is in its final steps to end the 20-year war.

The British Ministry of Defense Press Office said that:

Our primary concern remains the safety of our personnel, British citizens and the citizens of Afghanistan. We are in close contact with our US and other NATO allies at an operational level on the immediate response to this incident.

The Pentagon had earlier said that the evacuation operation will be continued till the cut-off. But most of the countries have been wrapped up their airlift operations including Canada and the government said that it’s heartbreaking to leave those who want to be rescued.

The Turkish defense ministry said that there are two bobs blasted at the Kabul airport but none of their troops is injured.
