Ollie Robinson destroyed India in the third test

England’s Ollie Robinson destroyed India’s second innings and leads England to a perfect win with one inning and 76 runs. And level the series on day four of the third test at Headingly on Saturday. The third day was very good for Indian batsmen and they scored 215 with a loss of 2 wickets at the end of day three.

When Indian batmen resume their innings on day four the situation was very good but I was changed when the deadly spell of Ollie Robinson came out. He strikes Pujara at the start of the innings and then bowled Virat Kohli. After that all Indian teams were out before lunch at the core of 278 it was the true magic of English bowlers.

Indian captain Virat Kohli said that the collapse was due to scoreboard pressure and it was very difficult to come back after the huge first-innings lead of England. He further said that:

We did well to stay in the game yesterday, fight back as much as we could, and gave ourselves a chance. But the pressure today was outstanding from the England bowlers.

India decides to bat after the toss and their innings ended at the score of 78 runs. They were restricted to this score by the superb spell of Anderson. In reply, England scored 432 and was led by the skipper Joy Root by scoring 121 and half-centuries by Rory Burns, Haseeb Hameed, and David Malan.

Virat Kohli further added:

Quite bizarre (the first innings), it can happen in this country […] we thought the pitch was good to bat on, coming on nicely. But the discipline forced mistakes… it’s difficult to cope when you’re not scoring runs.
